Ok, we the Hathaways are offically voting for Ron Paul and praying that he wins . It took us awhile to offically decide. It was hard because we agreed with SOOO much that he said. We love that he seems to be so honorable too. Not even people that are against him can say that he is wishy washy. We also loved that he wants to pull the troops out right away. While we were getting so excited about what we were finding out on him we still needed to know exactly what he was planning on doing about abortion. I know we have been told many times by others that we really need to look at all the issues more (believe it or not we do look at all the issues) or that we really just don't understand . Some people have told us that we can't stop people from doing bad things but we can do something about healthcare and taxes. After all those things do directly affect us way more than abortioin. We can't help that God has laid this paticular issue strongly on our hearts . So, we had to know where he stood and what exactly he planned on doing about this. It took us weeks to find out everything we needed to know (it is so frustrating how hard it is to find out anything). So now not only do we agree with him on what we call "all the other stuff" we also agree and are really excited about what he plans to do about abortion. We also love the fact that he is for stem cell research and mentions plenty of ways we can do that without murdering children.
This post however contrivertial it may be was posted because of how excited we are that someone has finally taken a stand on an issue that to us makes ALL the other issues seem small ( and they aren't).

If you google ron paul cpac there is an interview of him from like yesterday or the day before and he talks about abortion and how scientifically a human life begins at conception and it's just really encouraging if you haven't seen it yet!

Exciting stuff! :)

Oh.. and it's on YouTube. :)

I'm glad you guys are voting for him now because then I don't feel weird about ranting and being all excited about what he has to say (otherwise I feel like I can't quite be myself because I might seem too pushy when I'm just passionate about the issues.) :)

It's feels good to not be apathetic about the state of our country and actually feel hopeful!

Yeah, we saw it. Actually he says a lot about abortion it just takes a long time to find it all. Did you guys see the YouTube video of jay leno when ron paul was on? It had nothing to do with abortion but we found it interesting. Ron Paul has so many GREAT ideas. I'm glad we can talk about it now to. Ryan didn't want us to say much about it until he found out everything he needed to. We have been pretty excited about Ron Paul for awhile. Even if we don't think he will win. We are excited to vote for him . It just gives you hope seeing how many people have backed him up and how far he has held his own. It gives us some hope in the American people.
