Ryan works incredible hours and the girls don't get to see him much (if at all) during the week. One day he had just got back from the office in time to change his clothes and head to Subway for the night shift when the girls were doing there normal fall to the floor and cry that Dad is leaving again. Ryan who hates being away from his girls as much as we hate him being away made a quick phone call to Roe and then told Victoria to get her shoes on. She had so much fun and Ryan said he loved having her there.
He was going to bring Bella the next week but Roe called and said that we couldn't do that anymore. He said that Subway told him we couldn't because we could easily sue him if one of our kids got hurt and that customers might think it unsanitary. Even though we know for a fact that the customers loved her being there and some of them even remembered her from years ago and thought it was great that she was back. I do understand Subway and why they said no. However it's sad for us.

She's so cute! I see so much of you in her. I was going to say that I want Victoria to make me a sandwich when we come up but it's too bad they won't let the kids do that. I understand their reasons, though.

That's so cute! It's too bad you can't continue doing that. I know how hard it is when your kids' daddy isn't hardly around (although you've had to deal with that a lot more than we have). I hope Ryan won't have to work such long hours for much longer.
That is SO adorable! It looks like she did a really good job too. :)
Reminds me a little bit of when I used to be able to go to the Starbucks where Youssef worked (though I wasn't behind the counter) I miss being able to do that, but I probably wouldn't be able to much anyway since Lily is so active now. I used to take her when she was really little though and read while she slept and nursed. It's really too bad that they won't let you do that again.
Have you gone much to just be in the restaurant? Like, take some coloring books and hang out? You probably don't feel good enough to do that though, but you WILL feel better! :) Maybe you'll feel better by mother's day! :)
